Western Diamondback Rattlesnake In Backyard

Just barely visible in the first photo, this Western Diamondback Rattlesnake got itself well situated in a hesperaloe by the time CJ arrived to get it. There is a lot of great habitat all around, but all private property and inaccessible. He managed to find a perfect relocation site, though a bit further away than we’d have preferred. However, recent research shows that these kinds of relocations may have better outcomes than was previously thought.
