Rattlesnake Removal in New River

This little Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was found resting in the shade along the side of a home in New River. The homeowner mentioned he may have seen the same snake in the driveway the night before, and had also found a fresh shed in the garage. When Jason arrived, he was able to safely remove the snake from the property. With the home sitting right on the edge of a newer development bordering the New River wash and native desert, he released it into suitable habitat within its estimated home range.

Rattlesnake Removal in the Spring

From the weekend: A Western Diamondback was spotted by the homeowner while she was picking up a package from the front porch in Glendale. The home sits right next to the dry New River riverbed and very close to a desert preserve, prime rattlesnake habitat. A large shed in the backyard, raised slightly off the ground, may have offered ideal shelter. We safely removed the snake and relocated it deep within a natural rock structure that showed clear signs of rodent activity, giving it the resources it needs well away from the home.

Rattlesnake in New River

Notes from Apryl from a recent relocation: Very nice couple who have had 1 rattlesnake in the past. Snake was located on their front courtyard enjoying the shade. Their backyard and side yard was immaculate in terms of minimalistic styling and no clutter. They were wondering why the snake chooses their front yard as it was also very clean but the courtyard provided wonderful shade for the animal. Small neonate rattlesnake but over 2 weeks as there was no siblings or mom found nearby. New River, AZ
