A Casa Grande homeowner was in the backyard with her dog when she watched it approach a bush and get bitten by a Mojave Rattlesnake. She immediately rushed the dog to the veterinarian and called us for help.

When Marissa arrived, the Mojave Rattlesnake was still coiled beneath the same bush where the bite had occurred. The property featured a large yard with dense vegetation and plenty of activity from Round-tailed Ground Squirrels, making it attractive habitat for a predator like this. With desert surrounding the home on all sides, suitable habitat was easy to find, and the snake was safely relocated within its estimated home range.
