A homeowner called after discovering a young Western Diamondback Rattlesnake coiled near the garden in the backyard. By the time Josh arrived, the snake was already on the move and headed straight for a hose hideaway box. It slipped underneath before it could be captured, so Josh carefully moved the box and safely secured the snake. It was then relocated to suitable habitat within its estimated home range, where a deep rodent burrow beneath a mesquite tree provided excellent shelter.
