We got called out to a business on South Mountain right as the sun was going down, and as soon as the temperature dropped the rattlesnake retreated into a small hole in the block fence. There wasn’t a safe way to pull it out without risking injury to the snake, so we told them to call us back the next day when it came out on its own. It only had one way in and one way out, and around 10am the next morning it surfaced from the same spot and we were able to remove it easily. It was a very skinny snake, so hopefully the relocation area has better hunting opportunities than a block wall and pavement. South Phoenix.
