Falling Rattlesnakes

Falling Rattlesnakes

From the weekend: A homeowner called after opening her garage door and watching a rattlesnake fall from the inside panel onto the floor. Josh responded quickly and found a juvenile Western Diamondback coiled in the corner of the garage. She is no stranger to rattlesnakes, as her property backs up directly to a wash and she sees them regularly in the area. The snake was safely relocated to a nearby wash and placed into a packrat nest under deep cover within its natural habitat. Instead of grabbing a shovel, she recognized the important ecological role rattlesnakes play and chose to have it professionally and safely relocated.
