A Chandler homeowner noticed this Kingsnake slithering across her living room before it disappeared behind a cabinet.
When Marissa arrived, the snake was still hiding there. She moved the cabinet, safely captured the Kingsnake, and then worked out the most likely explanation for how it got inside.
The homeowners leave the door open in the mornings for their dogs, which probably gave the snake a very easy way into the house. The community is also surrounded by a golf course, with plenty of grass and shrubs throughout the neighborhood providing good habitat for the animals a Kingsnake might be following.
Sometimes there isn’t a mysterious hidden entry point. Sometimes the snake just uses the door.
