This little rattlesnake had been hanging out in and out of the garage for the last few weeks. The homeowner put out some mothballs and snake repellent, and as always, the snake did not care at all. How that scam can continue to be sold is beyond me.

This Sonoran Gophersnake was found cruising around the yard of an assisted living facility. Though it was known to be harmless, they preferred it be moved off the property. Western Diamondback found tucked up against a house in Marana today. This was the second relocation call within a month. They are the first house from the edge of a wash entrance, and will likely be on the front lines of rattlesnake encounters on their street for the foreseeable future.

This young Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was spotted by the front door of a north Phoenix home yesterday. The garage was just around the corner, and almost certainly the location the snake had spent the last few months. A homeowner’s dog found this Sonoran Gophersnake in the backyard. This is a very common snake to find in Paradise Valley, even in entirely developed urban areas. With a preserve nearby, this one was an easy relocation.

This pool area is ready for spring, with a newly installed rattlesnake fence by our crew. From the patio, it would be hard to tell that anything had been done at all. But with something like keeping rattlesnakes out of a yard, it’s the things you DON’T see that matter most.
