A Mojave Rattlesnake hanging out on the patio of a newly constructed home near Prescott, Arizona. For several years after a new development is completed, snakes displaced by the process may show up at random places where there was once habitat. Dane helped this one get to a better spot, where it will hopefully adapt.

A good example of the snake being a symptom, not the problem.
This Mojave Rattlesnake was using the same AC area as an Arizona Black Rattlesnake that Dane was called out to catch earlier in the year. This spot and the associated resources will continue to be useful to snakes. This can often be changed; however, it is a fact that is overlooked by those who might do away with the snakes and consider the matter solved.
Dane relocated the new snake to a better spot.
