A Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was spotted while a fencing crew was working at one of Dave’s regular customers’ horse properties near the Tucson Mountains. The crew wisely paused work and called for a relocation. David found the snake to be exceptionally calm, never rattling or striking during the entire encounter. After offering it some water, he relocated it to suitable habitat within its estimated home range, where a large packrat nest provided excellent shelter and a safe place to continue on.
