A homeowner woke up to her living room being messed up by her cat. She saw why: her cat was trying to catch a little snake that was in the house. Thankfully, the snake was just a harmless Desert Nightsnake, and was unharmed. All of the doors were well sealed, but she does leave the back door open from time to time on nice days.
