A barking dot alerted homeowners to a pair of Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes mating on the back porch. The property backed directly into a large wash, with various forms of artificial cover like lumber piles, some furniture, and toys that could be useful to small wildlife. Gary was careful to capture them both together and released them to this packrat midden under a mesquite to continue their snake-making activities.
