A late night call for a baby rattlesnake on a front porch brought CJ back to a Cave Creek home he had visited around the same time last year for the same concern. This time, it turned out to be a sweet little Nightsnake coiled near the entry after the homeowner and his dog stepped outside and spotted it. After confirming the ID, CJ relocated the snake right back into the yard at the homeowner’s request, placing it into suitable habitat within its estimated home range.
