This large Western Diamondback was discovered in the backyard of a Phoenix home by the two family dogs. When I arrived, it had taken shelter in between a set of old pallets. The snake was extremely stressed likely from its encounter with the dogs, and seemed relieved to be released into a quiet packrat nest in a deep wash not far from the home. Thankfully no dogs, humans, or snakes were harmed during the ordeal.
