A large male Western Diamondback Rattlesnake that must have had some difficulty finding a good spot to hibernate this year. This can happen for any number of reasons, often including displacement from construction and random relocations by the fire department. Thankfully Dave was called out and he was able to find him a better spot within its estimated home range.
