A homeowner called about a snake inside the home. Marissa went out but it couldn’t be found. The next day, they saw it crawling under the couch, and put a bucket over it so it couldn’t disappear again, and Marissa went back out to get it. The neighborhood is the typical heavily watered and landscaped yard with lantana and lawn all over the place, so these Western Groundsnakes are very common. They are of course entirely harmless to people and pets, and great to have in the yard.
