A last Speckled Rattlesnake for 2024 – this one came inside the home through a door left open to enjoy the nice mid-December weather. The homeowner used a broom to scare it outside, where it retreated to where it may have been using as its winter den. Marissa helped it get back to a better spot on the mountain, in carefully selected microhabitat that emulates the situation of capture.
