This little Sonoran Gophersnake was called in as a rattlesnake. It happens, and you can see why its easy for someone to make that mistake. Fortunately, the little guy is harmless, and the homeowner got a little lesson in the local wildlife.

After capturing the Western Diamondback Rattlesnake that prompted a call to our hotline, Marissa found a big Sonoran Desert Toad elsewhere on the property in an appropriate place. Both were relocated to carefully selected locations within their estimated home range.
