Dane picked up this Black-tailed Rattlesnake from a property in the Prescott area, making it the second one we’ve relocated from this location in the past two years.
The snake was found tucked beneath a bench at the far end of the property, where it appeared to be digesting a small meal. A quiet, sheltered spot is exactly what a rattlesnake with a full stomach is looking for while it waits for digestion to do its work.
