A homeowner called after discovering a Kingsnake cruising through the garden in her backyard. She had no problem sharing the space with a Kingsnake, but the yard was surrounded by a large stucco wall with very few ways in or out. Concerned the snake may have become trapped, she gave us a call.
Josh was on the road within minutes, and when he arrived the Kingsnake was still making its way along the base of the wall. After receiving the traditional Kingsnake musk bath, he secured the snake in a bucket and searched for a suitable release location. The Kingsnake was released into a deep rodent burrow beneath a dead Saguaro, where the shade and cover provided an excellent new temporary refuge within its estimated home range.
