He lost sight but I found it in there nearby garden. He live really close to south mountain. The only entrance in the backyard is the gate. He’s interested in fencing.

Caught speckled and looked over property, looked pretty good lots of easy ways for snakes to get in though.

Security guard saw it crossing the flagstones and headed to an outside wall. Swim park is surrounded by native desert on three sides, close to the foothills and bordered with metal fencing with large openings. Snake is a white and gray speckled rattlesnake adult approx 24" long with a body temperature of 85°. Snake calm, did not rattle or strike during pickup or release

House located in cul de sac and backs up to a mountain. Snake had body temp of 92°, white with blue and orange near the tail, slight rattle taper. Very defensive, struck, rattled and flailed wildly, crawled out of bucket while I was grabbing lid and kept trying to escape.

They then searched the back yard for the snake and found the snake inside there den Inside the house, the door was left open. They live on a mountain side And despite that have only had two rattlesnakes in 20 years. The snake will be tagged and released back within its range. The snake was acting funny so Bryan is going to keep an eye on it.

They haven’t seen a snake in there yard in 31 years. They do live right by south mountain. They only have one gate and one drain hole. They are interested in fencing.

She then notice a speckled rattlesnake in a wash by her side yard. The speckled was just hanging out I got that one. The atrox was on the move and unfortunately went into the desert before I arrived. She showed me a picture and it appears to be a gravid female. Her house backs up to a nice wash at south Mountain. She has a very short view fence. I have been to her house before for a speckled rattlesnake at the front door. She is interested in fencing.

She had people cleaning her gutters so they put the snake in a bucket. I searched the yard for any more. There landscaping is very well kept. They have a large view fence and nothing but the preserve and the mountain behind them. They have a few dogs and would love fencing.

Have had several rattlesnakes every year, not a property set up very well for fencing otherwise they would have done it. Looked over the rest of property, noticed a huge rocky fountain they would like to hide in.

Snake was warm and likely attracted to the water from the hose, climbed outdoor stairs when disturbed by homeowner. Managed to get all the way up stairs before I got there and into a corner of a planter. No evidence of rodents or any other reason snake would be attracted to the area.

They tried scaring the snake away with a hose but it would not leave. It was coiled under a grill when I got there. The house is on South Mountain with a big drainage that goes straight up the mountain behind the house. Very specky area. That have a view fence not much in there yard for the snake to hide under they just happen to live where speckleds like.

Looked around rest of property found large gaps in fencing in side gates. Caught another speckled in driveway about 4 months ago.

The snake was in a defensive position the whole time I think the dog really freaked it out. Near the snake some of the patio got uplifted by the roots of a nearby tree this could of been where the snake was hanging out before it came out for some sun. It is really cold out so I doubt the snake was just out in the open like it was for long. They have a big yard with brick all around. A few drain holes and gates.

Yearling speckled rattlesnake from last year‘s newborns found on side of house approximately two hours after a very tall and old Yucca tree fell down in neighbors yard. After inspecting the Yucca tree, roots were completely rotted causing the tree to fall over, but before the tree fell over it seems that there were many hollow pockets between tree roots and under the tree. I suspect that the speckled rattlesnake was living within the rotting roots of the tree, and came out when the tree fell over. The first rattlesnake that homeowners have seen on the property

Snake likely fell into the backyard through swing fence, as the property backs up to the preserve. Property could benefit from fencing, has been a fence that goes all the way around the backyard as well as a large back gate and a drainage hole by the pool. Snake likely fell into backyard over block wall and was unable to get out on its own. Landscaping was a little messy, and lots of debris around the property, but other than for a few hiding places nothing else seems to be attracting the snake to the property, no signs of rodent, no leaking water.

The speckled was coiled up behind a planter by the front door. This home is located on south mountain and does not have any fencing.

The speck was coiled up in his backyard by the back door. She looked gravid. He had a brick fence on the side and a view fence in the back.

The homeowner apparently stepped on the snake but was not bad and it started rattling after she stepped on it. Likely in the area because of the numerous hiding spots around the house due to construction materials piled up.
