2:00 PM		 Scottsdale 85266 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner was out side when she spotted the rattlesnake coiled up on the side of her back yard under a ladder. The snake then slithered around onto the porch and then she lost sight of it. After a good search I found it coiled up in a rosemary bush. The back yard was large with lots of random things on the ground. They had a block fence with a gate. There was a wash near by and some pockets of desert by the other homes.

The lot was pretty bare with no vegetation. Up by the patio he had a little statue and the snake was by that. The home has two fences one around the big lot and one around a smaller area in the back yard where the dog goes. The home has some desert areas around it.

The baby rattlesnake was coiled up in the corner up against the house. The home was really close to a big desert area across the street. The yard itself had some vegetation but nothing to over grown.

11:30 AM		 Cave Creek 85331 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Rattlesnake in chicken coup. Wants to know how it got in the coup see if there are holes. The snake was seen by the chicken keeper while checking the coop. The enclosed coop had entry points at both the front and back gate where the corner of the 3/8 mesh had released from the frame. I was able to temporarily reattach the corners using tie wire and fill in the holes under the gate. The customer did a great job securing the coop but I recommended our team come out and seal the entry’s with concrete underneath and use 1/4” mesh at least 3’ up all around. The snake was captured and released just off the property.

12:00 PM		 Cave Creek 85262 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The dog sitter was out back with the dog when she saw the black and white part of the snakes tail poking out from the back patio furniture. She got the dog inside and watched the snake. The snake slithered around the whole back yard while I drove there unbothered she said. It is a very nice day out so no temperature restrictions today. I caught the snake while it was still cruising around. The back yard has some vegetation but it is all trimmed up well. It has a view fence that backs up to a lot of open desert.

The cements under the gate was cracked and that’s how the baby got in. The yard is large and pretty open with little vegetation only cactuses. The home is surrounded by a lot of good desert habitat.

They lost sight of the snake by a large pack rat nest. Thankfully as soon as we walked up the snake slithered out from a bush. The home has a large yard with desert landscaping around it. The yard itself is clean and has little vegetation. They have a view fence and a gated courtyard.

The snake was captured quickly without issue with the customer observing the capture. This is a new neighborhood and the home is backed up to desert.

They watched it cruise around there front yard and back to the side yard where the wash was. It then coiled under a bush, which is where I got it. The home had a large wash right beside them. They had a partial view fence in the back yard.

The rattlesnake was very small still and it had made its way on a lip in the skimmer to stay out of the water. This whole community is pretty new with a lot of desert that had been tore up for homes and still more being done. The home is really close to Tom’s thumb and a lot of good desert habitat. The home has a partial view fence and two gates. The yard itself downstairs have much vegetation it’s all very young.

They watched it go under the building which is elevated with skirting. I could not see the snake under there. While looking around I found another rattlesnake coiled up under a near by ac unit. The schools grounds are clear but they are surround by desert and a nice wash.

Should be looked at though to make sure, also there is an entrance to the outer pool pump area that needs to be addressed that should be looked at. Please apply the $170 relocation fee as a credit for snake fencing if they choose to accept the job.

One of the girls ate her whole lunch in there not knowing but then someone spotted it just coiled under a desk. I caught it behind the wash machine in that room. They had their back door open all morning which faces a canal and a tiny strip of desert. This was a busy area and the snake is very lucky it didn’t get hit by a car.

We were able to take everything out of the shed and lift it up to get the snake out. The home had a lot of vegetation in the yard. It backed up to a little natural desert area as well.

Arrived 25 minutes after call and found adult western diamondback attempting to exit yard after being cornered by homeowner. Upon inspection of snake noticed it was quite skinny and seemed to have some sort of strange discoloration that would not wash off with water. Captured rattlesnake and cleared yard. Made customers aware they would be good candidates for rattlesnake fencing as they are the house on the end of a street next to a natural drainage area

Upon seeing humans nearby snake went into backyard through same hole. Ran around and captured rattlesnake. Verified no other snakes present. Customer house is 3rd in from dead end and the house with the least amount of human activity.

10:00 PM		 Mesa 85207 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about a small rattlesnake in her driveway, upon arrival the snake had made its way into the road. The snake was a juvenile Western Diamondback, a little frail looking. Not much usable habitat in their front yard so snake was most likely just passing through in search of food or water. Hiked the snake out to a small patch of remaining desert east of the neighborhood and placed it into a deep burrow under a creosote bush.

The snake then went in the wall gap between his yard and his neighbors yard. I had to go over there and push it back in the gentleman’s yard who called. The home had a partial view fence that backed up to a desert area. The yard had some vegetation but nothing to over grown.

They have our fencing and everything looks good in the rest of there yard. They are surrounded by good desert habitat and have a little drainage area right in front of their home. There were several water features in the backyard and overgrown vegetation surround the pool and water features. The customer was located close to a natural Sonoran Desert area.
