A Fourth of July relocation call for Candace turned up this Sonoran Coralsnake. These are tiny, venomous snakes, but not really something people need to worry about. Just don’t pick it up, and there’s really no danger.

They have small, front-fixed fangs and can deliver venom. However, these little snakes here in Arizona tend to go with a different method to defend themselves: they fart. Not kidding.
