2024-11-25 3:00 PM | Cave Creek | 85331 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner let her dogs out and then heard a rattle in the backyard. She got the dogs in and watched the snake slither to the corner of the yard under some stuff by a small shed. They had a rattlesnake in their back yard last week and they just put it over the back fence. They said it didn’t look like the same snake. Behind the home there was a big desert drainage area. |

2024-11-27 4:00 PM | Phoenix | 85085 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner went in her garage and she saw the snake coiled up in the corner. She had gaps in the door which allowed it to come in. She was going to have her neighbor come get it and wasn’t sure if he’d kill it so I told her I’d just come get it since I was close. She has a large yard with a chain-link fence. |

They have our fencing and I couldnt find a spot the snake came in through. The yard is very well-kept. There was a rodent hole going under a larger rock that the snake may have been hanging out under since it’s been cold, but there really weren’t many spots the snake could go. |
2024-11-29 8:00 PM | Paradise Valley | 85253 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowners daughter went out the front door and saw the rattlesnake coiled up by some fire wood they had just put there a few hours before. The home was on a desert hillside. Earlier in the day they had their septic pumped and they had to dig up stuff and clear out brush. I’m not sure the snake was near there but there was lots of little places this snake could have been for winter. |
2024-12-02 1:30 AM | Cave Creek | 85331 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Received a call regarding rattlesnake inside of a garage. Arrived at property and was greeted by customer and daughter who were watching the snake with garage door open. Noted a juvenile atrox in corner nearest garage door entrance. Snake was rattling but it was not very loud. Used tongs to capture snake. Snake struck at tongs but I was able to bucket it without further incident. Inspected garage afterward and found no other snakes or signs of snake activity. I did note that the garage seal nearest to where the snake was seemed to be coming off and I suspect this is where the snake entered. I addressed this with customer. Customer has desert wash that runs both north and west of the neighborhood. |
2024-12-01 4:30 PM | Queen Creek | 85142 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner was going into her courtyard when she heard a rattle and saw the neonate rattlesnake in a water drain that was in the walk way. I was able to flood the snake out. Her garage doors were right by this spot and neither one was sealed good so I'm thinking the snake had been in the garage for winter. The area is well developed but there is a big desert wash behind the home that goes on a few miles but all surrounded by homes. |
2024-12-02 8:00 PM | Tanque Verde | 85749 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Repeat customer called about a diamondback found by their dog in their backyard which was captured and removed. 2024-12-05 7:00 PM | Phoenix | 85045 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The snake was half under a bucket by the back yard gate. The homeowner went to open the gate when she saw it. On the side of the home there was a rocky drainage which is where I think the snake had been hanging out. Her yard didn’t have much for deep cover unless it had been in the garage which was sealed pretty well. The home had a view fence and one gate. The home had a South Mountain Preserve across the street. |
2024-12-11 9:00 AM | Rio Verde | 85263 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner wheeled out a car jack from inside the garage and noticed there was a rattlesnake underneath. 2024-12-17 2:30 PM | Phoenix | 85050 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner was getting a package when the delivery driver spotted the baby rattlesnake coiled up by the front door. The courtyard had bricks for flooring and some up against the house weren’t sealed that well. The snake could have potentially been hibernating there, or their garage just around the corner had big gaps in the corners. Across the street they had a drainage area that had a bunch of stacked rocks which also would have provided a nice warm spot for winter. Hard to say for sure where it had been it was very small still. |

2025-01-23 11:00 AM | Scottsdale | 85260 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This was at a business center in the under ground parking garage. Someone had saw the snake but then they lost sight of it. I found the snake not far from where they saw it just coiled in the corner. It was pretty cold in this parking garage. There were gaps that separated the wall and cement floor that possibly could have been a place the snake was. There were also some storage rooms nearby. They had just received a bunch of desert trees that were placed right by this area that the snake could have been transported in. It was a healthy older adult and the area I got it in was extremely populated. |

2025-02-05 7:00 AM | Gold Canyon | 85118 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner went into the garage to change the liter box when she moved the container and saw the baby rattlesnake. It then went under the near by refrigerator. Last week they found this snake in there garage and they put it out in the front yard. The seals on the garage door are bad and the snake came back in without them knowing. The home has a lot of deserts right behind it. |

2025-02-25 10:30 AM | Scottsdale | 85255 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Resident first saw a coiled western diamondback, rattlesnake, sitting in a wet patch of ground near a garage. After discussion, I learned that this is used for long-term storage by the property owner. Suspected to be a winter den. I went out to investigate and found snake tracks and shed skin from a young western diamondback that matched the description and photographs from the resident. Search the garage, found no additional snakes, found the snake coiled in filtered light at the base of a bush near the water source. Captured and advised that the property owner be contacted to allow entry to the closed garage to search for additional snakes. |

It was in the entryway on the way to the restrooms. This was at a public park that had soccer fields and other fields. There once was desert across the street but it was all flattened with tractors in it ready to be built up. The building the snake was in had a storage area with a garage type door which is where I think the snake had been hibernating. The little snake had a bolus also. |

2025-06-27 8:30 PM | Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | They had a previous fencing quote and reached out for a new one via email but still asked me to have people contact them about fencing. The snake was on their front porch, they previously had 7 in their yard but probably due to reducing available water and trimming the plants they had discouraged more snakes from the area and so I was only able to find a single diamondback. |

2025-09-14 10:30 PM | Peoria | 85383 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Received a dispatch about a rattlesnake under table on front porch. Arrived to the property and met customers at the front porch where they were watching the snake. Snake was stretched out underneath a patio table with its back half exposed. Used tongs to capture snake with no issue. Inspected the rest of the front yard and backyard with no other snakes found. House is first house off of a large culvert with tons of rock pile for erosion control. Pointed this area out to customers as it was no doubt where the snake came from. Customer stated it’s the first rattlesnake they’ve seen since living there for 3 years. |
2025-09-12 2:30 AM | Tucson | 85704 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner was checking on their car at 2 am when they saw a rattlesnake in their front yard. |
2025-09-14 11:30 PM | Phoenix | 85050 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Received a call about a rattlesnake on a back patio. Customer’s daughter greeted me at the front door and escorted me to the back patio. Met with homeowner out there and she pointed to a futon against the side of a wall underneath patio. I observed an atrox in ambush between a small ceramic statue of a tortoise and a small one of a toad. I pulled the futon from against the wall and utilized tongs in attempt to capture. Snake turned out to be much bigger than I had thought and it quickly became defensive. It wedged itself between the statues and the eave of the stucco and it struck at my tongs several times. I eventually was able to capture and bucket it. Provided an inspection on back yard. Yard area sloped up towards the back wall. A fair bit of landscape plants but nothing really overgrown. Brick wall all the way around with only two entry points in the yard. Drainage hole on the NW side yard and a gate on the SE side yard. Gate would definitely have been easier for snake to get into and I suspect it came from here. Customer stated she has had a few snakes in the 11 years she has lived in the home but all were non-venomous and this was her first rattlesnake. This house would not have been on the top of my list for an atrox encounter. Immediate area has been fairly developed for some time. The closest habitat was a wash that cut through the neighborhood that connected wide open desert on either side of the neighborhood. The closest access point to the wash was about 3 blocks to the NW and the second nearest being another wash maybe 4-5 blocks to SE. I wasn’t able to get a definitive answer from customer about fence quote but it appears she checked the box for it. |
