Arrived and found neonate western diamondback who had recently ingested a large meal, likely from a rodent living in the cacti patches in the front yard. Advised customer of landscaping to blow out debris and thinning out overgrown cacti patches animals are living in.

It was in the high 30s last night and the snake wasn’t really in a good spot for warmth. This was this years baby healthy little one. Three houses down there was a large desert wash I believe the snake probably came from there. The yard didn’t have much for cover.

When I arrived snake remained in same spot near entrance of garage in corner, in a coiled position. I captured the snake immediately. Did not display any defensive postures until was safely in my bucket. Snake was released immediately afterwards. End of report.

Customer went outside right as it started raining for the first time in months and snake was out on patio getting a drink. Likely entered yard through gap under the gate, which was right next to the patio. House is across the street from a undeveloped hillside.

This is the 3rd rattlesnake I’ve caught at the property. 2nd near that planter. (Dave has also caught 3 there). I advised her to clear some debris around front door area and also move that planter. Unfortunately the front area is completely open so fencing isn’t something that could help them. The snake was released immediately afterwards. End of report.

Baby atrox from this year likely entered the yard underneath gate in the side yard and was denning most likely underneath concrete blocks that they had recently started tearing out. Snake fell into a window well that was a few feet below ground level and had no way to get out.

Then they quickly realized it had a head and sure enough it was a juvenile rattlesnake just coiled up in the cup holder enjoying its winter.

It crawled underneath some boxes before I got there but I was able to find it and get it out pretty easily. Search the rest of the garage as much as I could but no signs of other snakes. Because it is a young of year, I believe that it is alone and unlikely that others would be there as well.

2021-01-25 2:00 PM	Maricopa	85138	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	Defer payment by 3 months. The homeowners have lived in this horse 6 days. They are from Chicago. Saturday they noticed blood and puss on there dogs nose they thought it got poked by a cactus. They noticed some swelling so they took it to the vet. The vet ran some tests and said it was a snake bite. They had a shed that didn’t have much in it and was kind of light so we took everything out and lifted it up. Sure enough a juvenile western diamondback was coiled underneath. The dog is expected to make a full recovery.

She thought her patio was snake proof but there was a big enough gap for snakes to get in. She has a view fence and the preserve is right on the other side of it I recommend fencing to her.

The Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was still in there when I got there. They live in and around the good desert habitat. They have a large view fence. There landscaper put up some fencing but it’s not snake proof.

In the corner of her garage behind some buckets, there was the Western Diamondback Rattlesnake coiled up. Her garage has huge holes on the sides that’s how the snake probably got in and I assume he’s been there all winter.

The Amazon delivery driver found it while delivering a package to her home. When I arrived the snake remained in same place as found. I captured the snake with no issue. The snake was in the front yard hiding in lantana. Likely came from a golf course across the street, lots of construction also happening in the area. Advised the homeowner on how to trim Lantana to avoid attracting snakes.

The front door and front porch are all tile, never get direct sun. Looked around the property for other snakes at the request of the homeowner, found no snakes and very little evidence of rodent activity. The snake was likely just lost and ended up at the front door due to coincidence. The second snake homeowner is seen in three years.

Snake likely got in the yard of your side gate and was trapped in as the rest of the property is block wall. House is at the end of a dead-end with the wash right behind it. No sign of rodent activity landscaping was very clean, very few places for snakes to hide.

So they went out with the dog that’s when they heard the rattlesnake under a bush in the back yard. They have a view fence and one gate. They have some desert landscaping on the other side of their yard.

2021-05-20 10:00 AM	Tucson	85704	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	A customer called about a large rattlesnake seen near their garbage bin. While en route the snake moved to a large rosemary bush. It was a challenging capture due to the density of the bush. I used water to get it to move. The snake did move towards the edge of the plant. I then used a snake hook to lift the plant up and used my tongs to gain control of the snake. The snake was released immediately afterward. End of report.

When I arrived the snake was in the same general area that was in shade. It was being watched by another resident who directed me to the animal. I captured the snake with no incident. I also gave a complimentary inspection. No further finds. The snake was released immediately afterward. End of report.
2021-05-22 3:30 PM	Carefree	85377	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	The juvenile Western Diamondback Rattlesnake was coiled up by the trash can wheel outside of the homeowners side yard. He has a brick fence but also ocotillo that is used as fencing and he thought he was snake proof but it is not.

The homeowner was moving it and saw the rattlesnake. The homeowner was using a sharp tree trimmer to escort the snake out of his yard and damaged its rattle in the process. The snake will be ok after it sheds but can’t rattle right now. The home is on south mountain and has a view fence.
2021-05-23 8:30 PM	Marana	85653	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	Received a call about a snake found on the back patio of the home. They were unsure of species so they sent me a picture via text. I identified it as a Western Diamondback rattlesnake. They wanted me to come to remove it for them. When I arrived the snake remained in the exact same spot. I captured it with ease and searched the rest of the property for additional snakes. No further finds. They are interested in a fencing estimate which I provided them. End of report.

Snake was found in a large clump of fountain grass that had a hollow center near the entrance to the building. Snake and likely been displaced somehow and living there for a few days, as they said this is the third time they’ve seen it.
