I was able to remove it unharmed. It had a kink in its neck but was slithering normally. The garage had some gaps, and the door had been left open for some time. There were a couple of grassy areas and a large canal nearby; otherwise, the area was all homes.

Must of fell in from outside and couldn’t get out. I caught the bird which I think was a swallow and released it outside.

Home owner opted to have us come out, where it was discovered that the snake was actually a Tiger Whiptail, looking to be displaced and a bit rough from recent rainfall.

He had a big shed in the back and a wood pile which I looked in best I could.

It turned out to be a metal Brillo pad that she thought was a coiled snake in the darkness of the garage. I did a thorough inspection of the garage and yard and gave her some pointers on her fence modifications and wall drainage.
