Arrived on site and investigated the area mentioned by the customer who called. Upon arrival, several neighbors arrived and informed me the snake was spotted at another location in the neighborhood which was announced on next door I drove to that location and inspected the entire green belt area. During the inspection, the adult son of the person who spotted the snake informed me that what was actually spotted was a large palm leaf blowing across the road at 2 pm today. Informed HOA president that we offer free identification and that if the “snake” is spotted again, to contact our hotline directly and watch it which will be relayed on the same forum |

I decided to flood the hole, and did so for about 30 minutes. The snake never came out so we tried to dig it out with shovels for a long time but the snake was never heard or seen again. Husband is going to re-do with 1/4 inch material. Side gate is secured now, may call again for removal/inspection. Also has talked to neighbors about getting their yard inspected as well |

She is getting a landscaper to come take care of that and has a brick fence with one gate and a few drain holes. |

She is new from Indiana and is freaked out at the aspect of snakes. I thoroughly searched the backyard, the surrounding desert outside of her back fence, the A/C units, pool pump area, the inner courtyard, garage and all its cabinets, and the front yard shrubbery. No snakes were found but a fair amount of rodent activity was observed in the front yard. I advised to keep up on pest control and landscaping. Answered her questions but left the fencing questions for Jill who is scheduled to come tomorrow for a fencing estimate. I also explained that an inspection at this time of year is different than their peak season and she plans on another in the spring. I was there for just over an hour. She is interested in dog training and pointed her to Rattlesnake Ready. |
