Phoenix | 85044 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | A security guard called about seeing a rattlesnake outside of a Charles Schwab office near South Mountain. When I arrived, the snake had moved into a man-made drainage of large river rocks. It was bed down under a small pile of rocks and was found after a short search. The close proximity to open, native habitat makes this a frequent location for snake removal calls. |

Peoria | 85383 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowners children saw a snake in their backyard and alerted their parents. Being new to the area, they called us, sent a picture for an ID, and had us out to remove it. The neonate western diamondback more than likely accessed the yard from underneath the gate as there was a solid 2” gap. The back view fence would also allow passage but this guy was too small to get over it. Quick capture and released nearby into a hole under a bush. |

Phoenix | 85083 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner was out in the yard with her dog when she noticed it was getting rattled at by a rattlesnake by her shed. The dog did not get close and after getting them inside she called us. The snake was up against the shed behind some ladders when I arrived. I was able to easily capture the snake. The home was on an acre and a half but the majority of the property was clean and clear of debris. She did have a shipping container and a pile of big rocks that could be a good spot for a snake. Along with some gaps under the shed where I captured the snake. Behind the house was a horse property and that was surrounded by the desert preserve. |

Peoria | 85383 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner called after his kids had spotted a rattlesnake in their garage. The kids were home alone at the time, and a neighbor waited with them until I arrived. The snake was just inside the garage door, and it was immediately captured. The garage was packed full of boxes and miscellaneous, common items, and if the snake had not been waiting out in the open, it would have been extremely difficult to locate and capture. The home was located in a North Peoria development very close to a large wash and bordered by steep, rocky hills. The neighbor mentioned to me that he often noticed the garage left open for long periods of time. I thoroughly searched the garage, front and back yard but did not find any other snakes. |

Tucson | 85641 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This homeowner called when they found a juvenile Western Diamondback coiled around a dog toy in their backyard next to their storage shed. While I was en route, the snake retreated to a hole that went directly underneath the shed. When I arrived, I used a hose to flood underneath the shed for over 20 minutes from multiple sides until eventually the rattlesnake made a break for it. I was able to quickly capture and secure the snake, and released it into a nearby habitat into a rodent burrow. |

Phoenix | 85050 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowners called when they spotted a small rattlesnake by the front door entrance. They were willing to keep track of it until my arrival. When I was there the rattlesnake was crawling along the wall near the entrance as described I easily contained the baby in the bucket for relocation. The home was in a well-developed neighborhood with only small patches of desert habitat nearby, they have a block wall with a gate for the back yard, I inspected it further and they are interested in learning about the rattlesnake fencing. |

Phoenix | 85020 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner saw the rattlesnake in his backyard last night. He took a pool net and pushed it out of his yard. He was still afraid that it might still be around so he wanted me to look. I searched in his backyard and I didn’t find the snake then I went to his front yard and nothing. Finally, I went to the side yard and the snake was coiled up next to an old target practice cushion on the ground. This home was built on a rocky mountainside. The yard itself didn’t have much cover. The snake was right by an AC unit which I think it had been under at some point. |

Phoenix | 85083 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner called about a Western Diamondback that was near her front door. When I arrived the snake was still there, curled up next to some deflated Christmas blow-up decorations. The area backs right up to the Deem Hills preserve and the home has a wash that runs right behind it that comes directly from the nearby desert hill so the snake likely traveled through there and ended up at her front door. Some bushes that were overgrown in the front yard that I recommended she trim down, but ultimately the front porch faces North so it will always be an attractive spot for any animal looking for a shady day time spot. Scottsdale | 85255 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The caller in this instance was a property manager for a short-term rental property. The guests staying in the home saw a rattlesnake coiled behind a large shed. The children observed the snake then traveling along the inside of the perimeter wall. Unfortunately, the observers lost sight of the snake after briefly leaving the area. After a brief inspection, I determined the snake had likely made its way under the shed. After attempting a flood out for a significant period of time in each hole with no emergence, I decided to tap along the base of the shed and I was able to hear the snake rattle. After much more water, I was able to coax the snake into emerging from one of the drain holes in the shed base. The snake was recovered without incident and no other snakes were removed. |

Phoenix | 85045 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Rattlesnake in backyard under milkweed bush. When I arrived at the home the owner was able to relocate the rattlesnake between two small potted plants butted up next to the wall in their backyard. The homeowner stated that the western diamondback had been living there all winter and they had heard it a few times since August but had just seen it today for the first time. They wanted the rattlesnake relocated since they have small dogs. I was able to easily secure the snake in my bucket and relocated off of a nearby trail. |

Scottsdale | 85255 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | The homeowner called about a rattlesnake on the move in her front yard. I found the snake half in a bush trying to get away. The front of the house is completely exposed to the desert with lots of open space surrounding it. The snake was relocated to the nearby preserve in a packrat nest. Twenty five minutes later the homeowner called that there was a second snake on her front porch. I went right back and found a very defensive snake stretched out at the front door. The second snake looked like a gravid female and was placed in the same packrat nest as the first. |

Tucson | 85745 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This homeowner was tending to his garden when he found a juvenile Western Diamondback coiled under one of his plants. After a quick web search, he called us and we were en route within minutes. When I arrived, the snake was still coiled- sitting in ambush. I secured him in the bucket and found a suitable nearby habitat to release the snake into. I found a large, deep rock structure that would make for a perfect release spot. The snake was released, and both parties were able to go about the rest of their day. |

Goodyear | 85338 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | This client had us out at the beginning of the month for a large WDB by the front door. Today, she had another smaller western diamondback visitor in the rear yard. This guy had just eaten a small rat and made his way around the yard, likely looking for a new escape route. I was able to gently remove him and get him to a better locale. The client would like the fencing team to come out as soon as possible and protect her rear yard. |

Glendale | 85310 | Western Diamondback Rattlesnake | Rattlesnake was found under a dumpster. It had struck a service worker while they were walking by, and the homeowners wanted it removed. They had just had a snake in March removed by us and by comparing photos, I reassured them it was a different snake. I also spent time educating on aggressive vs defensive and because it was under the trash can that was being used, it acted more defensively due to the commotion. They have gotten a quote for snake fencing from us before and are still thinking about it. |
