I inspected their other sheds as well. They said they commonly get rattlesnakes in the property and used to kill them, but now they are not allowed to for liability reasons. They will be using us moving forward. Advised them on snakes using tool sheds in hottest and coldest months of the year.

He allegedly watched the nightstand while I was on my way but the snake was not found. We searched over the entire room, in the drawers, and in neighboring bedrooms but could not find the snake. When I showed them photos, they most recognized what they saw as a Desert Night snake.

He thinks it came in when he left the door open this afternoon.

A plastic 6" diameter pipe that goes under the drainage hole with open ends will also need to be addressed as well as the back left corner of the yard. There is a gap between the back wall and side wall that would allow entry from the neighbor`s yard.

He was curious as to why he was seeing two this year and not one in the six years he has lived there. He is backed up to a wash and hillside. Very clean yard but inspected thoroughly. His pest control person did a bad job an snake proofing his gate. He is interested in fencing (He has one double gate on concrete and three drain blocks).

The husband is from Australia and usually relocates them himself , as he does have the proper equipment; however this snake wedged itself beneath a large jet-ski. The drainage holes have been covered with mesh and it appears to be a well done job, but the two gates are obvious entry points. Whoever did the fencing, possibly James, said that he was unable to do anything with the gates.

I was unable to see the snake as there is a large amount of space and burrows underneath. I will try again on Saturday. Two gates and around 20 to 25 open drainage holes. There is possibly an issue with Pima Co. in screening these.

2019-12-02 4:00 PM	Tucson	85716	Longnosed Snake	Customer called about a small snake found in her house. I initially went over there last night. But when I got there I watched the small snake that I identified as a longnose go up a pencil size hole in her back door. I tried everything I could to get it out with no luck. Etleast an hour and a half trying. Today she called me that the snake had left the hole and was hiding under her fan. She kept a close watch on the area until I arrived. She made a huge step in conquering her fear by keeping watch. Once I arrived I lifted the fan and was able to catch the snake. End of report.

The snake had previously been seen in garage a couple days prior. The customers scooted it out with a broom. When they realized the snake had established its winter site there and would stay around the area they decided to call us. When I arrived snake was half outside and half in a small hole. I captured it with no issue. The snake was released after. End of report.

They placed a bucket over snake and she didn’t know what to do with it. I responded immediately and captured the snake that was under bucket. Husband was bit at night by a yearling western diamondback that was below front door. He is recovering fine. Snake was released after capture immediately. End of report.

The customer found it swimming in their pool unable to escape. It’s only about 50° right now so the snake was very lethargic and generally difficult to handle on a hook because of its inability to righy itself.

When I arrived snake was near place it was first seen. I was able to catch the small rattlesnake with my tongs and safely placed it in my bucket. Snake was released immediately afterwards. He has a big rock pile bordering the was and his yard/pool with holes in it. I flooded it but no snakes came out. He is interested in fencing. He already has badly installed 1/2 inch mesh. I showed him that it was ineffective for snakes and he became interested in our fencing.
