Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This customer called because they had two rattlesnakes resting in a pair of large, overgrown plants. When i arrived, one of them was there but the other, which had been disturbed by the homeowner, had quietly exited the area. A few feet from the snake was a large Desert Spiny lizard that seemed to have just died. It possibly succumbed to a bite as the homeowner described the first snake “sniffing at it” when they startled it. I brought the deceased spiny to the relocation site in case the snake decided it wanted to eat it.
