I responded and told her I would look around. When I arrived she told me one of the snakes was basking in the sun outside of a hole. I was able to catch the snake immediately. I also used a garden hose and flooded another snake out of same hole. Both snakes were released shortly after. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake found in backyard. When I arrived the snake had made its way from the door to the side of the house, fairly close to a covered drain hole. I captured the snake immediately. Snake was released immediately afterwards. I property inspection was conducted afterwards to check for more snakes and talk about better ways to prevent less rattlesnakes on property. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about a small rattlesnake found near his outdoor pool equipment. Once I arrived I was directed immediately to the snake which was sitting coiled underneath a large umbrella. I moved the umbrella and the snake began slithering away. I used my tongs to catch the Rattlesnake. The snake was only about 12 inches. I did an inspection of property as a precaution for anymore. No further finds. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake in her courtyard area. When I arrived they had lost sight of it but knew it was still on courtyard because both areas of entry were being watched by homeowners. I began searching in the courtyard filled with massive bushes. I noticed a hole leading underneath and into there massive rock Pilar. I inspected the bush nearby and got down to look inside. I immediately saw the snake that retreated back fat into the massive pillar. I used a garden hose to flood it out. It did work. The snake cane out. But I was unable to get a clear grab. The snake then bolted into another hole on same pilar. So I had to flood it out again. The snake then crawled up into there flower pot where I had to grab it quickly so it would not get away. I finally gained control of the 2 foot western diamondback. Snake was released immediately afterwards. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about rattlesnake that was under grill area that bit his dog this morning. He thought it had left, but noticed it slither back under grill. When I arrived snake was seen coiled under grill near where the propane tank should be. It was the shadiest part of the yard. I moved the grill out and was able to capture the snake. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Customer called about another rattlesnake found under area I’ve already removed 2. The snake was stuck in a snap trap for rodents. I used my tong to hold the snake and my hook to push the release lever. The snake was very defensive through the entire process, rattling and striking at me. End of report.

While at the home I caught an additional rattlesnake as well. Both snakes displayed defensive behavior and were a bit of a challenge to capture and place in a bucket. But it was completed. (Dave has also caught 3 there). I advised her to clear some debris around front door area and also move that planter. Unfortunately the front area is completely open so fencing isn’t something that could help them. The snake was released immediately afterwards. End of report.

Tucson 85704 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake A customer called about a large rattlesnake seen near their garbage bin. While en route the snake moved to a large rosemary bush. It was a challenging capture due to the density of the bush. I used water to get it to move. The snake did move towards the edge of the plant. I then used a snake hook to lift the plant up and used my tongs to gain control of the snake. The snake was released immediately afterward. End of report.

The customer did an excellent job of keeping an eye on the snake. Once I got closer to the snake it dod become quite defensive, but it was captured without incident. I also dod a courtesy inspection of the property and pointed some areas that may be a cause for an abundance of rattlesnake activity on the property. No more snakes were found. End of report.
