Tucson 85715 None Dog alerted them to a snake beneath some large evergreen shrubbery. Was well over an hour before customer called us, and had in fact left the house for a while. Customer tuned into a gopher snake hissing over that of a rattling snake. Probable adult gopher snake that went up into the tangled mess of branches. Yard is mostly contained with some drainage holes and gates that need to be addressed.

7:00 PM
Tucson 85715 Desert Kingsnake x2 Pair of mating king snakes. 42 " male that was all black and what I would consider to have a large amount of Mexican Black King genes, and a 40 " female with mostly yellow bands that I would think is a Cal X Desert King. Honestly every king I get in the Tucson area probably contains a significant amount of DNA from all 3 sub-species.

Tucson 85715 None Customer called because last night she had seen her first snake while living in Arizona for 4 years. She could not identify it and was unable to get photo so she wanted a “piece of mind” inspection. All parts of property were throughly inspected. There was very minimal hiding areas in any bush. All were groomed properly. There were no signs of any rodent activity. Gate was unsecured last night which would be a probable entry and exit point. The house was backed up to a wash and both neighbors on each side of house were very snake and rodent friendly places. It was more then likely a solitary event coming from another yard or wash. I explained some preventative measures but yard was for the most part very pristine. End of report.

Tucson 85715 Desert Kingsnake 46" king snake . Very dark with faded narrow white bands. Contact by phone for fence referral. A simple job for a yard already mostly contained. One gate and one drainage hole along with two entry points between the house and wall. One on each side.

2:00 PM
Tucson 85715 Desert King Snake 29" King found in customer`s courtyard coiled behind a fountain. An easy fencing job to secure the courtyard as there is one gate that needs some work. No other entry points. Backyard has two gates, but other entry points can`t be addressed as they are from trees, branches, vines and various other vegetation. Customer will probably go with securing just the courtyard.

4:00 PM
Tucson 85715 None Customer called about possible kingsnake in backyard near oleander bushes. When I arrived 17 minutes the call I was directed to area which was a line of 12 oleanders. I saw etleast 3 different exit points the snake may have taken right of the bat. Unfortunately the customers did not keep any visual of the snake except for the initial interaction to the call. I searched through every plant and every base of plant that it could have been in. I also shifted through all the mounds of dead leaf litter in ground from the trees which was very deep. After about an hour and 20 minutes of searching it was determined the snake had exited out of property. The customers are very interested in snake fencing. No snake was found. End of report.

9:30 AM
Tucson 85715 None Customer called inquiring about a piece of mind inspection. When I questioned her about it she explained that she heard a rattlesnake last night around 8 pm. When I asked her to explain the sound and situation she did describe a rattlesnake. She was concerned it was still in backyard and wanted me to look around to make sure it was clear for her dogs. I searched the property very thoroughly. I first searched the area she described she heard the noise. The area itself was a wooded fence with holes underneath it leading to an ally which had lots of debris and shade in it. And then also into her neighbors yard which had large oleanders and other assortments of plants. Her yard specifically had little to no shade or hiding places where the incident took place. I also checked other part of yard that was bricked in. The yard was separated by an open viewing gate. And on other side of bricked in yard was another viewing gate. I also looked near the shed that was not enclosed by any fences. It was a distance from the area this took place but seemed like the most suitable area of her yard. The shed had 1/4 inch mesh around the base, but there were large gaps in 2 different places. I told the customer to stay vigilant and to call us if the snake reappears. She was interested in a fencing quote from us. End of report.

Tucson 85715 None Customer has seen several snakes this year. Two could possibly have been corals. I did find a king snake shed coming from one of numerous rodent burrows. A relatively easy fencing solution as there are two gates and a drainage hole. I suggested he cut a tree back, or down, behind his fence to eliminate it as a possible entry point.
