I inspected their other sheds as well. They said they commonly get rattlesnakes in the property and used to kill them, but now they are not allowed to for liability reasons. They will be using us moving forward. Advised them on snakes using tool sheds in hottest and coldest months of the year.

They were utilizing a homemade Desert Tortoise burrow and were coiled on top in some rocks. Customer had Derek out last year and she was actually bitten by a large Western Diamondback about two years ago.

When I arrived he had been watching the chest for me. I turned the chest over with my hook and removed average size dimondback without incident.

It was across the canal from an area where large diamondbacks are very common, and I suspect it fell into the canal and ended up on the wrong side.

After searching the entire backyard, I was preparing to leave and decided to check the area again where the sighting occurred. Found a 17" 3c Western Diamondback coiled under part of a bag of fertilizer. It was not there when I searched initially.

Right behind the trash bins they had a wood pile and they saw a rattlesnake coiled partially beneath one of the stacks of wood. They quickly called us to come remove the snake.

Customer had seen this snake a few weeks ago and scooted it into the desert with a shovel, but decided to call us when it showed up again. Its likely hibernaculum was a burrow under a very large rock, that was filled in during those warm days in mid February. The girth and weight of this snake was impressive. Customer is a snow-bird from MN, and may pursue fencing upon their return this fall.

Fire Dept. removed a snake that the customer believes to be the same snake just 4 days ago. Was in the exact same spot. Probable den site about 40 yards away at a culvert that is built up with large boulders and deep crevices. An extensive fencing job with multiple gates and a sizable area. There is some chicken wire that most likely needs to be removed. There is also a courtyard area with a gate. I am unsure just what the customer would wish to do and an on-site estimate is needed.

When I arrived the snake remained in same position as found. The customer kept an eye on the snake the entire time and directed me to it immediately. I was easily able to capture the snake and place it in my bucket. The snake was released immediately after. End of report.

The snake was sleepy and cool, and hardly reacted as I moved it into the bucket. Advised to remove several overgrown plants in the yard and seal up a shed with holes and a beehive at the base to prevent snakes from using it.

By the time I arrived it was hidden somewhere in the agave. It took me more than an hour and a half to dig through the prickly stuff before I finally saw some scales and was able to capture the snake.

Quite probably got that exact 18" 3c Western Diamondback in the garage today. it was caught in a glue trap and I was able to safely remove and release the snake.

I searched behind all shelving and corners. Removing box after box to search for it. I noticed a very dilapidated box that was in corner. I looked through too and saw nothing. I then used my hook and poked into the bottom, which made the snake move and rattle. Once I knew the snake was in the box I slowly shifted box on its side and it came out. I captured and relocated it immediately after. End of report.

Last year he stepped on one and then figured out there were three more under this unit. He normally removes them himself but this one was just too big. I ended up watering the snakes out. Got one larger one and a smaller one.
