2019-10-17 9:30 AM	Tucson	85715	None	Customer called inquiring about a piece of mind inspection. When I questioned her about it she explained that she heard a rattlesnake last night around 8 pm. When I asked her to explain the sound and situation she did describe a rattlesnake. She was concerned it was still in backyard and wanted me to look around to make sure it was clear for her dogs. I searched the property very thoroughly. I first searched the area she described she heard the noise. The area itself was a wooded fence with holes underneath it leading to an ally which had lots of debris and shade in it. And then also into her neighbors yard which had large oleanders and other assortments of plants. Her yard specifically had little to no shade or hiding places where the incident took place. I also checked other part of yard that was bricked in. The yard was separated by an open viewing gate. And on other side of bricked in yard was another viewing gate. I also looked near the shed that was not enclosed by any fences. It was a distance from the area this took place but seemed like the most suitable area of her yard. The shed had 1/4 inch mesh around the base, but there were large gaps in 2 different places. I told the customer to stay vigilant and to call us if the snake reappears. She was interested in a fencing quote from us. End of report.

A relatively easy fencing solution as there are two gates and a drainage hole. I suggested he cut a tree back, or down, behind his fence to eliminate it as a possible entry point.

I used my tongs to place glue trap and animal in bucket. I did a property check with no further finds. I then freed the snake from the trap using food grade oil spray and regular olive oil. The snake was released in same area. End of report

When I arrived I was directed immediately to the snake that had been watched the entire time I was on my way. I was able to capture the snake with ease. When I arrived (7 minutes later) I was brought to backyard by the homeowner. He was excited that the snake had left hole, and there was actually 2. I grabbed a second bucket to keep them separated before relocations were done. Once I caught both I talked about the benefits of non venemous snakes. The snakes were released shortly after. When I arrived the customers were outside keeping a visual of the snake from a safe distance. I was able to easily capture the snake. I did an inspection of garage with no further finds. While releasing the snake I noticed there had been an injury on end of tail. More then likely from the customers who didn’t admit it. End of report.

When I arrived I identified the snake as a Gophersnake. It was definitely 6 feet, maybe larger. She still wanted it removed because of small dogs.

When I arrived I was directed to the snake that was being watched by an employee named Daniel. The snake was outside one of the buildings on site. It was half wedged underneath the building. It could not fit all the way under due to its girth. I used my hook and tong to get it out. The snake was extremely defensive. I was able to finally get it in bucket. Snake was released shortly after. End of report.

Customer was mainly concerned about her side gate and a drainage being utilized to travel to backyard. The entire front yard, back yard and garage were inspected. No snakes on property. Behind her concrete wall while just viewing the desert habitat I did find a western diamondback sprawled out. I showed the customer and explained the identifying features. I left the snake as is because it was in its natural behind wall in a wash. Customer is very interested in doing a future fencing job through us. End of report.
