He is no stranger to rattlesnakes, as he’s had 17 removed from his property in the past year or so. Thankfully he kept an eye on it while I was en route, and when I arrived it was sitting in ambush under a prickly pear. I secured the snake in the bucket and relocated it to a suitable habitat within its home range: down into a rodent burrow surrounded by cover. |

When I arrived, the snake had retreated into the hole where I had worked to use a hose in order to lure the snake out. Following that being unsuccessful. There was a giant spool located near the hole where I was able to successfully lift that sport to identify two snakes, one diamondback, rattlesnake, and one gopher snake where I was able to safely retrieve both snakes. |
