The home is in the contact zone along Camelback where Speckled Rattlesnakes can be found, so I assumed this would be correct. I found a Gophersnake, however, in bad condition. I let it cool off and drink water, then released it up the mountain to deep cover.

Phoenix 85018 Coachwhip The housekeeper was cleaning the guest house when she saw the Coachwhip slither through the door as she had it open. She ran and said she saw a large pink snake. Being that it’s Phoenix mountain area I thought maybe rattlesnake. When I opened the door to the house it was right there and after a few attempted bites, I got the Coachwhip in the bucket.

Phoenix 85018 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner stepped out the back door with her two dogs and heard a rattle. The snake was right by her foot so she jumped in but the dogs were out. She still is not sure if they got bit but they seem to be ok.

Phoenix 85018 Kingsnake Homeowner called about a medium sized black and white snake in her bedroom. Had to do some searching around but ultimately discovered a foot long Kingsnake slithering around in her bathroom. Snake was a bit large to squeeze in through and small cracks so I informed her that it likely came in through an open door when she wasn’t looking. Snake released into a rodent hole in a small patch of nearby desert.

Phoenix 85018 Longnosed Snake The snake was seen stuck to two sticky traps in the garage. I was able to get the snake off unharmed but it did have a little scale damage. The garage had gaps in the sides when it was closed. The home was really close to Camelback Mountain and had a big wash behind the home.

Phoenix 85018 Gila Monster Gila monster that was previously living in a wash directly behind homeowner's yard on the side of Camelback Mountain. They no longer wanted it there due to fear of it coming in contact with their dogs. It was the first time the homeowner had ever seen it. I explained it had likely been living there unknown for quite some time as it was an adult and they have very small territories. Homeowner would like it removed as it did encroach into their backyard area and he was uncomfortable with it in his backyard or near his home. I was able to find a different wash outside of the neighborhood with a large rocky area and plenty of boulders for coverage less than 1 mile away.

The home was built on a mountain side. The home was open to the mountain. I hiked the snake up from the back yard and relocated it near by. The homeowner was ok with that.

While cleaning up she saw a neonate western diamondback under a used concrete bag. It was nice and moist under there with lots of crickets hopping around. She lives right by the mountain.

She went to see what was up when she saw the rattlesnake by her door. She lost sight of it and I searched the whole back yard and nothing. I walked around the front and saw the snake crossing the road. I was able to grab it. The home is really close to the preserve.

I could see the snakes scales but without taking apart the floor board there was no getting the snake. He didn’t want to wreck the cabinet so he said he’ll wait it out. Phoenix 85016 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake The homeowner saw a large rattlesnake in his backyard late last night. It went under a cement slab in his backyard so he decided to leave it. Today, his pool guy was in the back by his pool equipment and saw two rattlesnakes. When I got there, they were locked up one really large male and an average size female behind the pool pump. The home is right in the desert and has a lot of boulders in their yard. I placed them in the same place on the mountain so hopefully they continue mating.

Phoenix 85009 Sonoran Gophersnake This was at a trucking business. The gophersnake was slithering around the fleet of trucks and then went up into one. I caught it hanging out by the engine. This was a large 3 foot plus snake. I’m not sure how it could have survived in this area because of how much traffic there was, so I’m not sure if it originally hitched a ride or not.
