Phoenix | 85022 | Sonoran Gophersnake | The homeowner was out in the backyard with her dogs when she saw them barking at something. She heard what she thought was a rattlesnake and got the dogs inside. The snake was somewhat up in a tree, more at the base but elevated at that time. It then moved under a bush. It ended up being a gopher snake. The home didn’t have much in the yard and no cover. They had a block fence with a drainage along the side that was close to the preserve. |
