Litchfield Park 85340 Longnosed Snake A house sitter called and said she had a snake stuck in a hole in the side of the home she was staying at. I arrived and found a longnosed snake stuck several inches up into a very small hole in a metal bracket on the underside of the stucco. The snake had been there for several hours and seemed unable to back out or move further up into the wall. I used some cooking oil and very gently and very slowly worked the snake out. It took about 10 minutes. The snake came out cold and stressed but did not seem to have any injuries at all.

Scottsdale 85259 Longnosed Snake The homeowner called us about a possible Coral Snake at her home in Scottsdale. At the request of the homeowner, the snake was removed. This property is located in the middle of a gated community just north of a large open stretch of native desert. It was heavily landscaped with a water feature. No other snakes were found.

Scottsdale 85255 Longnosed Snake Security guard at an apartment complex called about a tenant who said they had a “small black and white snake” in their apartment. They were able to contain it in the corner of the living room by placing a small pot over it. When I arrived I found the Longnosed Snake under the pot. The front door had gaps that the young snake could easily fit through. What was most impressive though is that this apartment was on the second floor, about 20ft up. Not quite sure how the little one managed that but either way, impressive.

Paradise Valley 85253 Kingsnake, Kingsnake The homeowner had a king snake removed from her backyard a few days ago, which was stuck in some bird netting. Then today she had another one stuck. It ended up being two king snakes both tangled in the bird netting. I was able to free them both with minor scale damage but after a few sheds, they will be like new. I think the snakes may have been going to the garden for the water. She also had a shed nearby with baby bunnies under it. She was cool enough to let the snakes stay in the back yard and when we released them in the pack rat nest a rat did come out. Which is why she wanted to keep the snakes. The home was right next to a golf course.

Tucson 85747 Kingsnake Customer called about unknown snake species that went up into her vines. I told her without a picture it would not be able to identify. As a precaution she wanted me to come out. When I arrived at the home she told me she found a picture of the snake that she thought it was. She showed me a picture of an Arizona Black Rattlesnake. Due to the geographical area we were in, it would be impossible to be one. (Unless escaped pet). I told her it’s more then likely a Kingsnake. She still wanted me to find it and remove it. After about 20 minutes looking through vines I finally found the snake. About 7 feet in vines. I grabbed it and placed it in my bucket. End of report.
