It kept opening its mouth and moving as if it had some sort of head trauma. I didn’t notice and wounds on the snake. When I pulled up a cat ran off and the snake did have some fur in its mouth. So I’m not sure if the cat was messing with it. Two weeks ago, their dog was bitten in the backyard by a rattlesnake. They never saw it but the vet confirmed and the dog is ok.
