After the initial seeing the snake, it went a short distance under some hot tube steps that are open in the back. I searched the back yard under the steps and found no snake. I saw a small hole going from the back yard to the front so I went to the front yard and looked in some bushes under a large shaded tree. The snake was coiled up in the bushes. He was content didn’t rattle didn’t move at all.

Phoenix 85083 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Snake was startled by customer and had taken refuge in a rodent burrow under a wooden bridge over small culvert in the yard and had to be flooded out. Yard is open on all sides and full of shelter, including sheds, wood piles, overgrown plants and rodent burrows, as well as plenty of birds and rodents running around and water left out for them. Customer wants rodents and birds in the yard and wants to provide as much for them as she can. Advised she can't have all the prey without seeing the predators and she understood and was okay with it. Gave her tips for when and where snakes were likely to be hanging out so she could watch out.

Phoenix 85083 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Snake is in water box for sprinklers, do prop inspection after snake is captured. There was nothing in the yard found that could support rattlesnake life during the hot part of the summer so I suspect it was the construction across the street and subsequent displacement of the snake that caused her to be here. They have lived here for 18 years without seeing a snake so this is most likely.
