The property manager said not to charge the tenants and that they would pay over the phone, and later asked us to invoice them via email.

7:00 AM		 Fountain Hills 85268 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Homeowner called about a Rattlesnake behind their garbage can. When I arrived, I discovered two western diamondbacks hiding in between some broken-down cardboard boxes that were set up next to the trash can. One was a male and one was a female. Home is surrounded by open desert and has a wash below it, so plenty of places for snakes to be in this area. I hiked the snakes up a small canyon nearby and found them a nice large rock pile and placed them into some deep cover where they can survive the winter.

This house is located on top of a hill with lots of open desert in all directions. This is a repeat customer who had 2 rattlesnakes near the trash cans only a couple days before. They are interested in talking to the fence team.

7:30 PM		 Fountain Hills 85268 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Homeowner called with rattlesnake moving around the yard. When I called en route, the snake had gone down a hole, but by the time I arrived the snake had resurfaced behind the homeowner. Turns out, they actually had 3 diamondbacks! The first one they had eyes on was behind a plant trying to escape through the viewing fence, but no luck. The second snake was curled up in the corner behind another bush, and the third was the one who escaped down a drainage hole and was just on the other side of the view fence. All three snakes were captured and I relocated them into a huge packrat nest in the preserve nearby.

The western diamondback was curled up under a chair on the back patio when I arrived. The fencing looks intact, the only thing I can think of is maybe the fence was propped open and the snake was nearby and entered that way. Snake relocated into a large packrat nest in the nearby desert.

4:00 PM		 Fort McDowell 85264 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Arrived and found large western diamondback rattlesnake taking shelter under some plastic planters in the shade. Area where snake was found is in the center of a farm. A walk around of the farm revealed a significant amount of clutter and evidence of rodents but no significant evidence that snakes had been spending significant time in the area however with the wealth of hiding places and water sources it is likely. The property sits at the mouth of a large and resource rich wash that is likely a pathway for rattlesnakes coming from the preserve area

Arrived and found healthy adult western diamondback attempting to navigate a pile of pallets and rubber stall mats that had accumulated on the west side of the pottery. The snake had realized it was being watched and was attempting to get away. Captured snake upon arrival. Discussed with customer the risk these piles pose. Suggested offfering them up for free on marketplace as a means of getting rid of places to hide so close to the open desert (and horses)

She shut the garage, and when I arrived I saw the coachwhip behind some items in the garage. This home has a lot of surrounding desert and is also a horse property. She was going to keep the snake but decided it was better to relocate it just down the road.

This property is extremely snakey. On one side of the house is a large section of rip rap, and on the other a large concrete pile. Very likely rattlesnake den on each side. I inspected the yard and found another juvenile, as well as 3-4 shed skins in a storage closet behind the house. They do have a closed off yard that could easily be fenced in. They have roughly 3 drains and 3 single gates (verify with them). They attached 1/4” mesh on the gates with zip ties but it is not secure at all. I advise Jill do the inspection/estimate as she has experience with this type of den situation. They are interested in a quote and are expecting a call.

I advised them to watch the holes for the next few days and call us if there are more. They want to remove the cactus that the packrat nest is in entirely.

9:30 AM		 Florence 85132 Mojave Rattlesnake, Sidewinder They were clearing some land with an excavator when the driver said he ran over a snake nest and 30 snakes came out and started to attack the tires. Then the snakes all scattered and or got buried. When I got there I found a dead Mojave and a dead sidewinder both had been run over. There is a good chance more got buried and or went to nearby brush, but I didn’t see any more snakes. There is a lot of desert around both disturbed and un disturbed.
