Florence 85132 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Some workers went to move some equipment and both the rattlesnakes were coiled underneath. They put one in a trash can, and the other went under a shipping container nearby. They used a lift to lift it up and I got it out from underneath. This area has desert surrounding it.

Florence 85132 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake, Western Diamondback Rattlesnake This is at a construction site in the middle of the desert. They went to move a shipping container and when they did they saw snakes underneath. When they set it back down they crushed one on accident and it died. They weren't sure how many snakes were under there. When they lifted it up again the other snake was injured and was missing some skin on its belly and may have had some broken bones. I released it and hoped for the best.

Florence 85132 Mojave Rattlesnake The homeowner called about what they thought was a rattlesnake in their backyard. They heard a rattle but never saw the snake. When I arrived, I discovered a decent-sized Mojave rattlesnake curled up between some flower pots. The yard was small, and most of the space was occupied by a pool, but some good hiding spots were still available for even a larger snake such as this one. The snake was released into a rodent burrow at the base of a creosote bush within its estimated home range.

Florence 85132 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Homeowner called about a rattlesnake curled up next to her front door. When I arrived, the western diamondback was still in the same spot. Current time is almost midnight and temps are in the high 50s, so the snake was probably not going to move until sunrise. Nearby park with well-watered grass but not much cover, the snake is most likely just trying to navigate its way out of this neighborhood and has been unsuccessful so far. I helped him out by walking him into the nearby desert and placing him in a large well insulated packrat nest at the base of a large ironwood tree. Florence.

Drexel Heights 85757 Sonoran Gophersnake Customer called about large snake she was unable to identify. She has had a deep phobia regarding snakes since she was a child. When I arrived she directed me to the snakes area. She had it pin pointed underneath a tire jack. She did a great job keeping a visual of the animal and stayed with the snake testing her own fears. I believe Dave and I have given her a better understanding and respect for the animals but she still has fear of them. I immediately captured the snake with my tongs.
