The home is fenced, with fencing done by us, but the warranty expired in June 2025. The snake was last seen in a large agave cluster, so I flooded the area, and the homeowner and I began removing some agave plants here and there to help. After about 40 minutes, we discovered a Sonoran gophersnake underneath all the debris. The snake was released in a packrat nest in a small patch of desert near the neighborhood but away from homes.
