Property was full of rodent holes and droppings, with many overgrown plants and leaky sprinklers. There was a fountain in the side yard that has flooded and created a little Oasis. Property has view fencing backed up to a wash. Strongly suggested looking into snake proofing yard. Customer was interested but said she would reach out on her own as she is going to be re-doing yard soon.

Snake wasn’t there but I figured it was just under the tarp. After pulling up many sections I as able to locate it. Helped rip out the rest of tarp area since that was one of the only real problem areas on the property. Looked over rest of property, no other snakes present.

I got that one and found another in there front yard under there house ledge by a water drip. I also found a gopher snake that was in a big hole on the side of there house in there back yard. And a sonoran desert toad both those stayed in the yard. They just have three gates and a brick wall. Yards well maintained but they do have a pack rat nest in there back yard and some other rodent activity. Across the street is a mountain and the open desert.

12:30 PM		 Scottsdale 85259 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Had a larger diamondback and at least 3 neonates. 2 neonates went into hole in foundation. The hole was facing the ground though, so when I went to flood the area out the water just drained out of the hole and couldn’t effectively flood the area. Did find 1 neonate coiled up nearby, caught and relocated. The mom diamondback was unfortunately killed by maintenance workers, also a kingsnake has showed up and the mom diamondback drove it off before the workers killed it. Told homeowner I’d go back if snake was seen in next 24 hours.

Customer stayed large Rosemary bush is over 20 years old. We did some significant trimming to the bush and I attempted to flood it out, but found no other snakes. I suspect that there is some sort of burrow or hole underneath the bush that the snakes disappeared into. customer is going to schedule his landscaper to come and remove rosemary bush while I am present so that any snakes found in the bush can be promptly removed. If customer calls again to schedule this, please ask for me.
