While at the home I caught an additional rattlesnake as well. Both snakes displayed defensive behavior and were a bit of a challenge to capture and place in a bucket. But it was completed. A perimeter inspection was completed and there were no further finds. End of report.

Lots of exotic plants and planters in the backyard to provide cover and tons of water and attract food. The couple saw one snake crawling along the fence in the backyard and watched it go under a large planter by the time I arrived. I flipped the planter over and found a second adult snake under it as well.

The snake remained in the same area upon my arrival. Once I saw the snake I gently used my tongs and placed it into my bucket. I looked around the yard the best I could with no further finds. I gave them my business card and talked about rattlesnake fencing with them. They seemed interested and will more than likely give me a call to schedule an estimate. End of report.

It was like 40 degrees last night so I thought maybe it was just cold. I pulled the snake out and it was dead with a dead rat in his mouth and a ton of maggots. It was nasty. It looks as though the snake went to get the rat which was pretty big and it suffocated and also suffocated the rat and they both died in the hole and then maggots took over.
