When I got there the snake had gone under the pot. The pot was very very heavy. The homeowner had to tilt it while I looked under when he did that I saw a rattlesnake and gopher snake. The homeowner couldn’t lift it very long or high. As I was sliding the snake out the pot slipped and unfortunately squished the rattlesnake. It did not look like it would make it when I released it. The gopher snake he let stay. Then we tried to move the other two large pots next to it. We found a coachwhip which he let stay. There was also another rattlesnake. The same thing happened to the snake. He lifted it I grabbed the snake slide it out but before I got it out the pot dropped and unfortunately killed that snake it crushed its head. I released them anyway so hopefully the one will survive. The house has a brick fence with a gate a few drain holes and one little view fence area.

There was nothing in the yard found that could support rattlesnake life during the hot part of the summer so I suspect it was the construction across the street and subsequent displacement of the snake that caused her to be here. They have lived here for 18 years without seeing a snake so this is most likely.

Has drip systems and a couple other water features in there that definitely attracted the rattlesnake last year and this year. Hesitant on fencing but may want courtyard fenced off in the future.

This doesn’t really seem like a rattlesnake area. The yard is well kept but does have lots of vegetation and shade. With a pool and lots of stuff being watered. They have what they think is snake fencing right now but it is not sealed on there gates and the holes are to big. They have a brick fence with some drain holes. A small gate and rv gate.

Estivation Site as likely as the neighbor has seen several rattlesnakes in the last few days and heavy brush clearing occurred in the empty lot behind the houses. Captured the snake search for others did not find any then advised keeping an eye out for the next few weeks just in case others are present.

This time the snake was in there back yard coiled by a pot. They have just a view fence and behind that is south mountain. They got a fence quote last time but are still thinking about it.

There is a lot of desert landscaping surrounding the house. They have a view fence that has fencing on it but they said rabbits dig holes under it and there gates are not done.

Diamondback first snake seen on property in 15 years, hardly any vegetation in front or backyard. Diamondback took cover in small patch of cactus in front yard. Did subsequent property inspection and relocated diamondback to a large wash down the way.

The hole was facing the ground though, so when I went to flood the area out the water just drained out of the hole and couldn’t effectively flood the area. Did find 1 neonate coiled up nearby, caught and relocated. The mom diamondback was unfortunately killed by maintenance workers, also a kingsnake has showed up and the mom diamondback drove it off before the workers killed it. Told homeowner I’d go back if snake was seen in next 24 hours.

The owner said that the last time they had us over was last fall and our agent did not find the snake but found multiple small rattlesnake shed skins in the exact same spot. I am assuming it is the same animal coming back to give birth again. I released it into nearest suitable habitat in deep cave. He is interested in having someone come for an estimate, but he seems to only be interested in having the gate done. He has 1/4” mesh but it is only 24” high. I advised that he will likely need something higher. Explained the “snake trap” concept to him.

I assume the snake was there for the rodents and moist garden mulch that is very shaded.

Diamondback and gopher snake under large tarp on east side of baseball field. Rodent activity, shade and moisture was available under this large tarp. Undoubtedly the feature that attracted these 2, most of the property is very open. One of the few snakes employee has seen in 5 years working at this location.
