Shut the door and left, when I got there I was looking around laundry room moving washer + dryer around, when I heard a hissing sound above me. It had gotten on top of counter opposite to washer and dryer, managed to catch with no bites.

After searching the yard I found another neonate coiled up not to far from the first one. They live right next the the preserve. They said they have had 6 in the last couple weeks. Gave them half price discount.

I searched the yard and around the yard did not find it. Found a smaller gopher snake shed in a bush as well. He has a brick fence with gates.

Looked over rest of yard, really nothing to hide in. 1st snake seen in 14 years. Was some sprinkler system hitting that corner of the yard so that likely attracted the snake.
