They said the snake they saw was a lot bigger. There back yard is desert then a golf course and then south mountain. They have a view fence and are interested in fencing. They haven’t seen a snake in the 30 years since they lived there.

12:30 PM		 Scottsdale 85259 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Had a larger diamondback and at least 3 neonates. 2 neonates went into hole in foundation. The hole was facing the ground though, so when I went to flood the area out the water just drained out of the hole and couldn’t effectively flood the area. Did find 1 neonate coiled up nearby, caught and relocated. The mom diamondback was unfortunately killed by maintenance workers, also a kingsnake has showed up and the mom diamondback drove it off before the workers killed it. Told homeowner I’d go back if snake was seen in next 24 hours.

1:00 PM		 Phoenix 85048 Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Rattlesnake is next to house in shade. Large gravid female diamondback tucked up next to the house. The owner said that the last time they had us over was last fall and our agent did not find the snake but found multiple small rattlesnake shed skins in the exact same spot. I am assuming it is the same animal coming back to give birth again. I released it into nearest suitable habitat in deep cave. He is interested in having someone come for an estimate, but he seems to only be interested in having the gate done. He has 1/4” mesh but it is only 24” high. I advised that he will likely need something higher. Explained the “snake trap” concept to him.
