They just moved in a month ago, they were really worried because they have kids. I looked around and recommended trimming some plants up. They have a brick fence one gate and some drain holes.

When I arrived I identified the snake as a Gophersnake. It was definitely 6 feet, maybe larger. She still wanted it removed because of small dogs.
2021-09-05 1:30 PM	Prescott	86305	Sonoran Gophersnake	I received a call about a snake being underneath the homeowners refrigerator. After inquiring, was able to determine it was a gopher snake. Before arrival, the snake had crawled out from underneath the refrigerator into the nearby pantry. Upon arrival, the snake was quickly located and captured exiting the pantry. The homeowners had a problem with mice coming into their house which could be a likely factor in the snakes presence.

I was able to catch one but the other got out from a large hole in the house and stucco of the fence. They thought they had three because they saw the snake leave while I drove there but we figured it was probably just one of the mating pair. Seems like this hole just wasn’t noticed when they installed the fence but both snakes could have got in this way. Also, the bottom rubber part of the fence seems to be wearing and I think a small snake could easily get in.

He missed and woke the snake up. Then he ran away but let the pole stay on the snakes tail pinning it there. The snake may have broken a few bones but it seemed to be moving just fine when I released it. The home is located right by Phoenix mountain park.

They were excited and really cool people. Their yard doesn’t have a fence and is open. They do have vegetation but it is well kept and pretty much as clean as you can get a yard. They are surrounded by desert and may get a fence one day.

She put it in a bucket for me. The little one had a big meal in it stomach. She has a large yard with a mostly chain-link fence and has had a few snakes this year. She would like to know how much it would be to fence her yard.

Snake can’t be much more than a week old, so I double-checked the surrounding area for more snakes or possibly the mother, but found no other snakes. When I arrived the snake was already scooped up into a dust bin, with the security guard watching. The security guard stated he was not the one to find or scoop up the snake, was unsure of where it originally came from. Making it harder to narrow down the places to look for other babies.

The homeowner apparently stepped on the snake but was not bad and it started rattling after she stepped on it. Likely in the area because of the numerous hiding spots around the house due to construction materials piled up.

He took the dog to the vet and it is stable. The large western diamondback was coiled up by the back door when I arrived. The home is pretty close the Phoenix mountain preserve and has a large drainage behind the fence. It has a partial view fence and partial brick.

The customer is actually quite comfortable with Rattlesnakes, but this snake had been seen 4 days in a row in different spots. So in case of having his kid or dog get bit, he finally called to have it removed. I did do a property check also, no further finds.
