It was hiding near a fountain in some Lantana type plant, near a rock. There was an obvious lay. A good sized fencing job, though customer may want to wait a bit until a pool is installed.
2019-08-03 7:30 AM	Marana	85658	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	Customer called about large rattlesnake in backyard. When I arrived I was immediately directed to snake. The customers followed the steps they were told and snake stayed in back of the yard in corner near there snake fence. Once the snake was captured I searched the rest of the yard for other snakes and breaches in there viewing fence snake fence and 2 gates. One of the gates had a 3/4 inch gap that will not be able to keep young rattlesnakes out. Also in the back fence I found a couple different areas that looked to be pushed inward. The height of fence was correct and diameter of material was also correct. Most likely scenario was that the snake pushed up against fence part that was pushed in and slid through and was trapped in back yard. End of report.

When I arrived snake remained in same place without any movement. I immediately captured the snake utilizing my tongs. Once snake was placed in bucket safely I scanned the rest of yard. No more snakes. End of report.

When I arrived the snake remained in same area found because the customers kept a close watch. I immediately captured the snake and gently placed it into my bucket. Once the snake was secured I walked through the rest of yard with no further finds. End of report.

There is existing fencing in the back, but it appears to be half inch mesh. I addressed this with the customer. One other entry point between wall and house.

Customer was extremely scared, but not so much so that he was able to toss a glue trap into the closet that the snake had crawled into. The glossy was caught in the trap and I was successfully able to remove and release it.

He sent me a photo via cellphone and I was able to identify it as a Mojave rattlesnake. When I arrived snake was in same area behind a tiki statue near front door. I immediately captured the snake. I searched surrounding area with no more finds. The customer had our information from an educational event Jill and I did a few weeks back. Very nice people. End of report.

Customer captured the 12" Western Diamondback himself and placed in a container. Warned him of the potential risks in doing this, however he does have some experience from his time in southern California. Contact by phone for fence referral.

Snake was crawling towards front porch as the residents were enjoying the evening. Customer was hoping the snake would leave on its own, but called us when it was coiled in a corner of the porch. Please call to set up a fence referral. An extensive job.

Fencing is in the back, done by the homeowner, and it appears to be a well done job. I told the customer that Jill would have the best evaluation of it. The gate appears to be the big problem as it was not addressed and has multiple entry points.

2019-11-18 8:00 AM	Marana	85658	None	Rattlesnake in front porch area last night and hung out for several hours, but not seen on my inspection this morning. Snake recently removed by the Fire Dept. from the garage and relocated a very short distance away in an area with heavy construction.

When I arrived snake was near place it was first seen. I was able to catch the small rattlesnake with my tongs and safely placed it in my bucket. Snake was released immediately afterwards. 2020-02-17 3:00 PM	Marana	85658	Western Diamondback Rattlesnake	Two Western Diamondbacks, with the larger one (39" 6b USS) coiled on top of the smaller one (28"5b with moderate taper). They were utilizing a homemade Desert Tortoise burrow and were coiled on top in some rocks. Customer had Derek out last year and she was actually bitten by a large Western Diamondback about two years ago.

Fire Dept. removed a snake that the customer believes to be the same snake just 4 days ago. Was in the exact same spot. Probable den site about 40 yards away at a culvert that is built up with large boulders and deep crevices. An extensive fencing job with multiple gates and a sizable area. There is some chicken wire that most likely needs to be removed. There is also a courtyard area with a gate. I am unsure just what the customer would wish to do and an on-site estimate is needed.

When I had arrived at residence the snake had moved to a rocky landscape about 15 yards from front door. I was able to capture the snake with my tongs and gently place it in my bucket. When I arrived I was greeted by people monitoring the bush it went into. I was having difficulties finding the snake in the large bush with lots of dead leaves on base. I used water and flooded the entire bush. After 30 seconds of waiting I noticed a western diamondback rattlesnake crawling up the bush. I reached into bush with my tongs and gained control of the snake. I then gent placed the snake in my bucket. Snake was released immediately afterwards. End of report.
